Buzzoole is an award-winning influencer marketing agency and platform that works with global brands. As Head of Content, I managed content and marketing across the UK, Italy and the US.
The art & science of Influencer Marketing
Public Relations.
I worked with several PR agencies based in New York and London to provide global coverage of our initiatives on the BBC and other tier one media and industry outlets such as Adweek, Campaign, The Drum, Adage et al.
Content Strategy.
I owned the company’s content strategy for the UK & US and managing resources in the London and Italy HQ. I managed all the company’s properties in English across different channels and social media leading to a 100% followers growth and 50% engagement increase.
Research.
I directed first and third party data research leading the publication of seven white papers in English language, one in collaboration with Nielsen and another one with The Drum Studios, the creative branch of their magazine.
Sales Collaterals.
I worked alongside the Sales team and manage the design of all main sales collateral, events presentations, client proposals and investor decks over the different growth stages of the company from Seeding to the Series A funding round.
Events.
At Buzzoole, events were a crucial part of the process of creating a community while building a creators culture. By putting influencers at the heart of our initiatives and inviting the main stakeholders of the industry, we put together a variety of events in London, New York, Milan and the Gulf of Naples.
Rebranding.
I acted as a bridge between the main stakeholders involved in the rebranding process with the branding agency BELLISSIMO. I managed and realised the creation, copy (ITA & ENG) and creative work on the new company website as well as managed the content production.
For creators.
How do you get your creators community to use and familiarise with a new proprietary technology? In the launch phase of the new Buzzoole app, I managed the content production for the launch.
For brands and agencies.
Before the launch of the fully automated platform Buzzoole Discovery, I wrote the script and managed the production of the launch material such as videos, FAQs and blogs.
Content Strategy.
As Head of the Content team I managed the production of all the content created by Buzzoole across the UK and the US. I conceived the social media and CRM strategy, as well as the production of events, campaign proposals and other sales material.
Revamping the brand.
The company had grown from a little startup founded by three friends into a successful global influencer marketing agency and was getting ready to start its Series A funding round to boost its international expansion and further tech developments. This transformation required the development of a new brand identity which reflected the new brand values.
White papers.
I managed the production of white papers, reports and guides on the influencer marketing state of the industry (with the Drum Studios), the best practices in the industry (internal resources), the use of #ad on Instagram (social listening tools) and the English version of how to measure the impact of the influencers campaign, conducted in collaboration with Nielsen.
Making the news.
I managed PR and the content partnership with The Drum that led to a consistent coverage on industry media, including an invite to the BBC’s show Victoria Live. Also global media outlets such as Forbes and Business Insider featured in my period at Buzzoole.
